The portrait of Anne Willing Bingham graced the first US coinage from 1796 to 1807.
She died in St. George’s in 1801 and is buried in St. Peter’s Church graveyard (her marble gravestone is remarkable and worth seeing!) The complete coin collection is on display at the World Heritage Centre until June 2011.Admission: $5.00 adults, $2.00 children
